Job summary

Serco Inc. in Washington, D.C. seeks a Contractor Assistant Program Manager (Program Support Lead) to support Team Submarine and NAVSEA 05Z. You will assist in daily operations, reporting, onboarding, and training while engaging with government and contractor personnel on submarine systems and risk management.

The role requires a DoD clearance, US citizenship, a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, and advanced MS Office skills. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years related experience.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Able to work independently and within large teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong relationship building.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support the PM in day-to-day program operations (including job description development).
• Conduct resume reviews and interviews; assist onboarding.
• Compile, edit and submit weekly, monthly and annual reports.
• Manage timecards and participate in financial management.
• Provide training to government and contractor personnel on submarine operation, risk management and certifications.
