Job summary

Serco is seeking a Contractor Assistant Program Manager to support the Navy Submarine program and NAVSEA 05Z. You will help manage day-to-day operations, develop job descriptions, review resumes, onboard new hires, and compile reports while coordinating with shipbuilders and government stakeholders in Washington, D.C.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of related experience, and strong MS Office and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Develop job descriptions and review resumes.
• Lead interviews and onboarding processes.
• Compile and submit weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
• Manage timecards and financial activities.
• Recognize and develop employees.
• Provide support to government/contractor staff.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Present information concisely to stakeholders.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
• Mentor junior personnel.
• Research and recommend courses of action.
• Provide training on submarine operation and risk management.
