Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Submarine Project Manager to lead a team supporting the US Navy on the Team Submarine contract in the Washington, DC area.

You will manage program status with the customer, guide cost, schedule, and technical performance reviews, and provide acquisition planning and contract management support. Ideal candidates have DoD security clearance, Navy program experience, and the ability to travel ~10%.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field.
• 5 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research, or Navy programs.
• Willingness to travel at least 10%.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer contact for all activities and update the customer on project status.
• Lead program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule and performance.
• Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
• Serve as the single point of contact for contract management related issues and reporting.
• Provide financial and management support to assist budget development.
• Deliver technical performance within cost and schedule constraints.
