Job summary

Serco in Middletown, Rhode Island, is seeking a Project Manager to lead PORTS program efforts supporting US Navy training systems. You will manage projects, liaise with customers, and guide teams to deliver high-quality simulation-based training devices.

The role requires US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, a Bachelor\'s degree, 5+ years of PM experience (P&L), familiarity with software development, and proficiency in MS Office; travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss
• Familiar with software development projects
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject)
• Travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects
