Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager in Middletown, Rhode Island to lead PORTS program efforts supporting the US Surface Navy. You will coordinate between the Program Manager, customers, and project teams to ensure on-time delivery of simulation-based training devices and systems.

The role requires a US citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and at least 5 years of management experience including P&L.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiarity with software development projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects
