Serco Inc. in Middletown, Rhode Island, is seeking a Project Manager to lead PORTS program efforts supporting US Navy training systems. You will coordinate with the Program Manager, customer, and technical teams to ensure on-time, quality deliverables and effective communication on status and risks.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a relevant degree, and at least 5 years of management experience including P&L. Travel up to 10% and strong MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of projects and liaise between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status, budgets, schedules; prepare status reports.
• Prepare DoD-compliant data items.
• Adhere to quality objectives, metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on status.
• Assess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
