Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead engineering and technical services for Navy carrier and surface ship maintenance and overhaul programs.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain, US citizenship, and extensive Navy/DOD acquisition experience, with travel up to 25% and strong leadership in large teams.

Candidates will collaborate with major shipyards and internal stakeholders to ensure program success and compliance with security requirements.

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) or equivalent with 8–10 years experience;Bachelor’s degree with 15 years may be considered.
• Extensive experience in Navy and DOD acquisition processes: Naval Ship new construction, modernization, and Navy C4I programs.
• U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Up to 25% travel for CONUS/OCONUS may be required.
• Ideal candidate: U.S. Navy Engineering Duty Officer background with shipyard collaboration and SHIPALT/SCD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead / support business development and proposal efforts related to U.S. Navy Carrier and Surface Ship Engineering and Maintenance Teams.
• Identify NASO new business areas in US and international markets.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
