Job summary

The position emphasizes maintenance planning, inspections, and training, with extensive liaison across internal and external stakeholders. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with seven years’ experience, or an associate degree with fourteen years’ experience.
• Five years of supervisory experience in maintenance, or design related to surface ships.
• Two years of supervisory experience and DoD security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and aviation systems interfacing with combat support systems.
• Oversee inspections, examinations, repairs, and maintenance planning for naval propulsion and auxiliary equipment.
• Coordinate with Ship's Force, reactor department, and stakeholders on maintenance and overhaul activities.
• Develop training packages and formal work packages for maintenance and repair.
• Manage personnel and cultivate stakeholder relationships.
