Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead engineering and technical services for the overhaul and repair of U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and surface ships.

The role requires potential DoD Secret clearance and citizenship, with some travel expected and opportunities to influence NASO programs. The candidate will oversee and develop proposals, manage cross-functional teams, and collaborate with major shipyards to ensure program success within Serco's Naval Acquisition and Sustainment

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) with 8–10 years' experience, or Bachelor's with 15+ years.
• Extensive experience in Navy and DoD acquisition processes (ship construction, modernization, and C4I programs).
• Current DoD security clearance or ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Up to 25% travel for CONUS/OCONUS.
• Experience as a U.S. Navy Engineering Duty Officer with shipyards experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead/ support business development and proposal efforts for U.S. Navy Carrier and Surface Ship Engineering and Maintenance teams.
• Help identify NASO new business areas in the U.S. and international markets.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
