Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced Program Manager for its Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation (NASO). The role oversees engineering and technical services supporting maintenance and overhaul for U.S. Navy carriers and surface ships. A DoD Secret clearance post-employment is required.

The ideal candidate will have deep Navy acquisition experience, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex programs with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) plus 8–10 years of experience, or Bachelor’s +15 years.
• Extensive experience in Navy and DoD acquisition processes including Naval Ship construction, modernization, and Navy C4I programs.
• Current DoD security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Up to 25% travel for CONUS/OCONUS may be required.
• Experience as a U.S. Navy Engineering Duty Officer working with major shipyards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead/drive business development and proposal efforts related to U.S. Navy Carrier and Surface Ship Engineering and Maintenance Programs.
• Identify NASO new business areas in U.S. and international markets.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
