Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Manager to lead engineering and technical services for maintenance, overhaul, and repair of U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers and Surface Ships.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility and will involve coordinating with Navy stakeholders, shipyards, and cross-functional teams. The position supports NASO within Serco’s Maritime, Engineering, Technology, and Sustainment unit, offering leadership in proposal efforts and strategic growth while traveling up to 25% as

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 8–10 years of experience; or Bachelor’s plus 15 years as an alternative.
• Extensive experience in Navy and DOD acquisition processes for Naval Ship new construction, modernization, and Navy C4I programs.
• Current DoD security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• United States citizenship.
• Up to 25% travel for CONUS/OCONUS may be required.
• Experience as a U.S. Navy Engineering Duty Officer with shipyards and HM&E, engines, and related systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support business development and proposal efforts related to U.S. Navy Carrier and Surface Ship Engineering initiatives.
• Identify NASO new business areas in the US and international markets.
• Manage personnel as needed to support short-term and long-term contracts.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
