Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Manager to lead engineering and technical services for U.S. Navy Carrier and Surface Ship maintenance and overhaul programs. The role requires coordinating with Navy stakeholders, managing teams, and supporting BD efforts in a dynamic defense environment.

Ideal candidates will have a Master in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 8–10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor with 15+ years, and a current or obtainable DoD Secret clearance. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 8–10 years of experience; or Bachelor with 15+ years, as applicable.
• Extensive experience in Navy and DoD acquisition processes including Naval Ship construction, modernization and Navy C4I programs.
• Current DoD security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• United States citizenship is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (CONUS/OCONUS).
• Experience as a U.S. Navy Engineering Duty Officer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support business development and proposal efforts for U.S. Navy Carrier and Surface Ship engineering and maintenance teams.
• Identify NASO new business opportunities in U.S. and international markets.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
• Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
