Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation (NASO) to support maintenance and planning for overhaul of U.S. Navy surface ships. The role is based at Pearl Harbor, HI and requires a DoD Secret clearance.

You will lead teams on HM&E and related shipboard systems, oversee inspections and repairs, and coordinate with the ship's reactor department. The position emphasizes technical leadership, program management, and customer collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years in related field or an Associate's with 14+ years of experience.
• Five years of supervisory experience in maintenance/design related to surface ships.
• Active DoD security clearance is required.
• Two years experience with propulsion, electrical, and damage control systems on US Navy ships.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and related shipboard systems.
• Oversee inspections, analysis, and repairs for naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Liaise with ship's reactor department prior to inspections and production work.
• Manage personnel to support short- and long-term contract efforts.
• Develop and train staff on maintenance procedures and shipboard operation.
