Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager for its Naval Acquisition and Sustainment Operation (NASO) to oversee engineering and technical services supporting U.S. Navy surface ships.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance and involves leading teams across HM&E, propulsion, and combat system interfaces, with significant collaboration with Ship's Force and TYCOM programs. Located in Everett, WA, the position emphasizes maintenance planning, training, and development of formal work packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with seven years’ related engineering management experience or Associates with fourteen years’ experience.
• Active DoD security clearance required.
• Five years’ supervisory experience in maintenance, design or technical assistance for surface ships.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E, ventilation, hull, and electrical systems on naval ships.
• Oversee inspections, examinations, and repairs for propulsion plants and related systems.
• Coordinate with ship's reactor department prior to inspections, testing, and production work.
• Develop and support formal work packages and training for Ship's Force and TYCOM programs.
• Provide technical support and advisory services for operation, overhaul, and repair of shipboard equipment.
