Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering and technical services for overhaul and repair of U.S. Navy surface ships at Pearl Harbor, HI. The role requires coordinating HM&E, propulsion, and related systems and ensuring readiness for maintenance and overhaul programs.

The successful candidate will manage teams, liaise with ship's force and reactor departments, and develop training packages while maintaining DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with seven years’ experience in related engineering management field or Associate’s with fourteen years’ experience.
• Five years’ supervisory experience in maintenance or design related to surface ships.
• Active DoD security clearance required.
• Two years direct experience with naval propulsion, electrical and damage control systems.
• Two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams providing technical guidance on HM&E and aviation equipment interfacing with combat support systems.
• Oversee inspections, examinations, and repairs for naval propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
• Liaise with ship’s reactor department before inspections and testing.
• Provide technical guidance for fault identification and repairs on propulsion and avionics.
• Develop and deliver training and formal work packages for maintenance.
• Cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
