Job summary

RTX's Naval Power (NP) Engineering Execution Department seeks an Operations Manager to drive efficient engineering operations across the NP SBU. The role manages capital planning, staffing forecasting, clearance processing, and monthly reviews, partnering with engineering leaders to maintain alignment and enable execution.

The position is hybrid and based in Tucson, AZ or other locations; U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance are required. Travel is expected to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working across functions and disciplines, including influencing without authority.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders.
• Experience with CapEx planning or execution.
• Experience with Power BI or Power App.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the NP Engineering leadership team in efficient and effective operations across the organization.
• Support Capital planning and execution activities.
• Supports staffing and demand forecasting.
• Facilitates CORE and annual goal alignment processes.
• Drive process improvements into organization operations.
• Collaborates across NP Engineering leadership team, disciplines, and governance organization.
• Travel is required to meet organizational objectives.
