Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Finance Growth and Program Excellence Professional for the Naval Power Finance team. You will drive financial excellence across capture, startup, and cost control, partnering with the NP CFO and leadership to shape strategy and growth.

You will lead controls, standardize playbooks, and collaborate with product lines and PMX to implement common financial structures and tools across programs. Occasional travel to MA, AZ, and TX is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field and 10+ years of experience
• Experience in financial management, leadership, and financial controls
• Experience in financial planning and synthesizing data sets for leadership review
• Deep knowledge of SAP, BW, PRISM, APEX EV, PM Tools, or similar financial systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract

Responsibilities

• Provide program controls and capture best practice leadership for $50B+ bookings opportunities and $10B+ annual sales growth over 2–3 years
• Manage centralized elements of Munitions Acceleration program startup as SME
• Lead program controls assessments and improvement projects for rapid learning and automation
• Facilitate the NP finance program startup community of practice as SME
• Develop common playbooks with Product Line finance, PMX, and BPMs for various program personas
• Develop and enhance financial hand-offs from capture to program startup
• Collaborate with DOD, FMS, and DCS programs; travel to MA, AZ, TX as required
