Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Manager responsible for planning, management, procurement, scheduling, and execution of nationwide construction projects. This role travels full-time on-site to project locations, ensuring profitability, safety, quality, and owner satisfaction through predictable outcomes.

Responsibilities include estimating support, budget preparation, PMP development, subcontracts, permits, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years experience on ground-up commercial projects, especially light industrial/cold storage.
• Understanding of estimating concepts and change orders.
• Knowledge of construction laws, codes, plans and blueprints.
• Strong team player with good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver predictable outcomes for internal and external teams and customers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely project delivery on assigned sites.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and PMP.
• Coordinate subcontracts, permits, and regulatory requirements as needed.
• Maintain client relationships and lead regular project meetings.
