Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking an AI & Emerging Tech Specialist to accelerate mission outcomes across agencies using generative AI, data analytics, and AWS services.

This role requires a US citizenship and current Top Secret security clearance, with the expectation to obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph after starting. You will drive use cases, adoption, and GTM strategy across multiple agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of technology platform sales with an understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption experience.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
• 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience.
• Experience selling AI/ML solutions.
• Experience with analytics, security, storage, DevOps, application development, or machine learning.
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
• Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.

Responsibilities

• Prospect into new AI and emerging technology customers with AWS teams to identify mission-driven use cases.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in AI and emerging tech, providing sales guidance and thought leadership.
• Meet with national security executives to understand mission requirements and introduce AWS AI and analytics services.
• Negotiate and close large AI opportunities across agencies to drive adoption at scale.
• Collaborate with account teams, engineering leaders, services, and program managers to align solutions with mission needs.
• Represent the voice of the customer and curate feature requests for classified and unclassified environments.
• Identify opportunities for Marketing and Public Policy engagements.
• Leverage associations to position AWS as thought leader and deepen partnerships.
