Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a senior AI & Emerging Tech Specialist to accelerate mission-focused cloud adoption across U.S. defense and intelligence agencies.

You will craft use cases, drive adoption of DataOps, MLOps and AI governance, and close large-scale opportunities across multiple agencies in secure, classified environments. Role requires a US citizen with an active Top Secret clearance (and TS/SCI with polygraph post-start).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of technology platform sales with an understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption experience.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
• Experience selling AI/ML solutions.
• 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
• Experience with analytics, security, storage, DevOps, application development, or machine learning.
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect into new AI and emerging technology customers and buying centers with AWS teams to identify mission-driven use cases for generative AI and related technologies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in AI and emerging technologies for account teams and customers.
• Meet with national security executives to understand mission requirements and introduce AWS AI and analytics services.
• Negotiate and close large, complex AI opportunities across multiple agencies.
• Collaborate with AWS leaders to align solutions with customer mission needs.
• Represent the voice of the customer and curate feature requests for regions and classified environments.
• Identify opportunities for Marketing and Public Policy engagements in national security contexts.
• Leverage associations to position AWS as a thought leader in AI and emerging tech.
