Job summary

AWS is seeking an AI & Emerging Tech Specialist within the WWPS team to accelerate customers' mission outcomes by applying generative AI, ML, and data analytics in secure environments. This US government-facing role requires US citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with polygraph, with TS/SCI pending after start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of technology platform sales with an understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption experience
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Prospect into new AI and emerging technology customers and buying centers by working with AWS account teams and partners
• Serve as a subject matter expert in AI and emerging technologies, providing specialized sales guidance and thought leadership
• Meet with national security executives to understand mission requirements and introduce AWS AI, data, analytics, and emerging tech services
• Negotiate and close large, complex AI opportunities across multiple agencies
• Work with AWS business leaders to align solutions with customer mission needs
• Represent the voice of the customer and lead requests for feature needs in both classified and unclassified environments
• Identify opportunities for Marketing and Public Policy engagements with national security customers
• Leverage associations to establish AWS as a thought leader in AI and emerging tech
