Job summary

VSP Vision Care is seeking a Training Specialist to assess skill gaps and design, develop, and deliver training across technical, sales, and communication areas. You will partner with business teams to roll out programs and measure effectiveness, including new product launches and system implementations.

You will lead engaging sessions, mentor fellow trainers, and support a dynamic, evolving sales organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required.
2+ years training and development experience required.
2+ years presentation and facilitation experience required.
Excellent written communication skills required.
Ability to travel 50% of the time required.

Responsibilities

Assess needed improvements for technical, sales and communication skills and design, develop and deliver training to elevate those skills.
Design and develop training agendas and materials including manuals, leader’s guides, online modules, and webinar delivery.
Project manage training delivery for new product and system rollouts and assess effectiveness of training.
Partner with business partners to execute successful training events for new hires and existing employees.
Deliver training sessions that meet organizational needs and adapt to a dynamic sales environment.
Collaborate with other department trainers to maintain and enhance programs.
Serve as expert and focal point for on-site staff and trainers for complex issues and interpretation of company information.
Provide mentorship and leadership to trainers.
