Job summary

Sazerac is expanding its U.S. Market Development team with Chains Market Development Representatives to drive merchandising, program execution, and incremental selling in major chain retail accounts.

The role focuses on maximizing brand presence through displays, ensuring product availability, and identifying upsell opportunities in a fast-paced retail environment. Candidates should have 1+ year of sales experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience (sales in consumer goods preferred).
• A valid driver’s license.
• Experience with major national retailers is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work early morning hours (e.g., 6 AM - 2 PM).
• Willingness to drive between multiple accounts daily.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for daily routes.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising and display programs in high-volume, national off-premise accounts.
• Ensure planogram compliance and shelf standards; address inventory challenges.
• Develop relationships with retailer contacts to ensure brand visibility.
• Collaborate with distributor reps to drive national programs and promotions.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure promotional execution aligns with goals.
• Identify upsell opportunities to increase product penetration.
• Provide feedback on competitive activity and customer trends.
