Job summary

Sazerac is expanding its U.S. Market Development team with Chains Market Development Representatives to drive merchandising, program execution and upsell opportunities in major national chain accounts.

The role targets self-motivated sales professionals who thrive in high-volume retail environments, manage daily routes, and aim to exceed volume and distribution goals. Competitive benefits accompany a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant sales or consumer goods experience, or a sales internship.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to drive between multiple accounts daily.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work early morning hours (e.g., 6 AM–2 PM).

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising and display programs in high-volume, national off-premise accounts.
• Ensure planogram compliance and shelf standards; troubleshoot inventory.
• Build and maintain relationships with retailer contacts for visibility and space.
• Coordinate with distributor reps to implement national programs and promotions.
• Conduct regular store visits; align promotions with company goals.
• Identify upsell opportunities and increase product penetration at each location.
• Address stockouts and retailer concerns promptly.
• Provide insights on product performance and competitive activity.
