Job summary

Sazerac Company is expanding its Chains Market Development team with MDRs to drive merchandising, product visibility, and sales growth in major national retail accounts. The role emphasizes executing displays, managing planograms, and fostering strong retailer relationships while optimizing routes and meeting volume goals.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in sales, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a willingness to travel daily to multiple accounts across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience, or for new graduates, a sales internship or part-time/full-time sales role (preferably in consumer goods).
• A valid driver's license.
• Experience with major national retailers preferred; willingness to drive between multiple accounts daily.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising and display programs in high-volume, national off-premise accounts.
• Ensure planogram compliance and shelf standards; troubleshoot inventory issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with retailer contacts to ensure visibility and display space.
• Collaborate with distributor reps to drive national programs and promotions.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure promotional/merchandising execution.
• Identify upsell opportunities and increase product penetration.
• Address inventory issues and retailer concerns promptly.
• Provide insights on competitive activity, product performance, and trends to sales/marketing teams.
• Ensure execution of special displays and seasonal promotions.
• Manage a unique daily route based on key accounts and geography.
• Meet or exceed volume and distribution goals for assigned brands.
