Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a national rental accounts book, focusing on retention and growth. The role is remote with substantial travel, covering the West and Central regions, and targets profitability and quota attainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years or more of experience in sales with quota achievement.
• Prior Rental Manager/RAM/BDM experience on the lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grow wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develop sales plans and a communications plan for each account.
• Schedule and lead customer meetings and build relationships at all levels.
• Attend customer events and trade shows in the territory.
• Complete annual business reviews with assigned customers.
• Analyze profitability and competitive influences within accounts.
• Partner with RAMs to develop their skills.
