Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to lead a national portfolio of top rental accounts.

This 100% sales role focuses on retention, wallet share growth, and driving revenue across the West and Central regions, with remote flexibility for qualified candidates. You will manage a book of approximately 100 accounts, develop strategic plans, and build relationships at all levels while traveling 60–75% to meet customers and achieve quotas; base pay starts at

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years or more of experience in sales roles.
• Proven quota attainment and sales excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows for applicable industries within the territory.
• Performs annual business reviews with assigned customers.
• Partners with RAMs to develop their skills and growth.
