Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage a book of top national rental accounts across the West and Central regions.

The role is 100% sales, focusing on retention, growth, and profitability, with remote work options for candidates in the West or Central regions and substantial travel. You will earn base pay plus uncapped commission, with realistic first-year earnings around $115,000.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years or more of experience in sales or related roles.
• Demonstrated consecutive sales excellence (quota achievement).
• Prior experience as Rental Manager, Rental Account Manager (RAM) or Business Development Manager (BDM) on the lease side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
