Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a strategic Sales Manager - Battery & Integrators to lead national sales engagement with battery manufacturers and system integrators across North America.

You will own the revenue growth, establish commercial and technical frameworks, and coordinate with Legal, Tendering, Procurement, product management, and operations to move opportunities from qualification through order intake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or a related industry.
• Experience selling to battery manufacturers, system integrators, EPCs, developers, utilities, asset owners, or energy storage customers.
• Strong understanding of utility-scale BESS, including battery technologies, PCS/inverter technologies, AC- and DC-coupled architectures, controls and interfaces, grid interconnection requirements, and the project lifecycle.
• MBA, advanced technical degree, or equivalent commercial and technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the North American sales strategy and account plans for priority battery manufacturers and system integrators.
• Develop and close PCS opportunities with battery manufacturers and integrators.
• Coordinate with Legal, Tendering, Procurement, and regional Sales to move opportunities from qualification through order intake.
• Demonstrate knowledge of battery/PCS architectures and grid-code requirements.
