Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking a Director of Business Development to pursue new clients nationally. You will be instrumental in expanding ARCO’s footprint, building relationships with industry professionals, and shaping strategic growth initiatives from day one.

The role emphasizes identifying opportunities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and traveling up to 40% to meet prospects and win work.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of new business development experience.
• Direct sales experience in food & beverage, cold storage, light industrial/manufacturing or commercial sectors preferred.
• Design-build experience preferred.
• Proficiency with business development software (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Pipedrive).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top of mind awareness
• Research and analyze key economic factors influencing market activity in niche markets or geographic areas
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan
• Attend trade shows and associations to assess market conditions and build client relationships
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with marketing, PM, and operations teams
• Travel as needed, up to 40%
