ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Nashville, TN is seeking a highly motivated Director of Business Development to drive new client relationships and expand market opportunities across the United States. You should have a proven sales track record in the construction industry and the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues alike.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with industry professionals, and coordinate the sales/proposal process with ARCO’s marketing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Engineering, Design, Construction Management or related is preferred.
• 10+ years' of technical sales experience in construction, food/beverage, or engineering design industries.
• Experience working with Economic Development departments/individuals.
• Proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision makers and influencers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities with end users.
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and build top of mind awareness.
• Travel as needed and coordinate the sales/proposal process with marketing, estimator, PM, and senior management.
• Research and analyze key economic factors that influence market activity in niche markets or geographic areas.
• Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities to ARCO management.
