Job summary

ARCO National Holdings, based in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive new opportunities across nationwide markets. You will identify relationships, expand ARCO’s footprint, and shape the sales strategy in a dynamic design-build environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction sales, a relevant degree, and strong business acumen within the A/E/C industry. Travel up to 40% is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction sales experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction-related field or equivalent sales experience.
• Strong business acumen within the A/E/C industry.
• Technical sales experience in the construction industry.
• Working knowledge of design/build concepts.
• Travel as needed to prospects, clients, alliance partners, and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top of mind awareness
• Research and analyze key economic factors that may influence market activity within specific niche markets or geographic areas
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with new clients and prospects
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with ARCO’s marketing, project management, and operations management teams
• Travel as needed, up to 40%
