Job summary

Model 1 Commercial Vehicles is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive service and parts growth for national accounts and large fleets. You will cultivate strategic relationships, translate customer needs into actionable service plans, and ensure commitments are delivered across multiple locations.

Based in New Jersey, you will travel to client sites as needed, negotiate terms, and work with operations teams to optimize uptime and customer value while expanding wallet share

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business development, sales or account management in fleet services.
• Proven success managing national or multi-location accounts.
• Strong negotiation and pricing skills across regions.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers and presenting solutions.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and grow national accounts and large fleets through outbound and referrals.
• Develop tailored service plans to improve uptime and loyalty.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with procurement and fleet managers.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure services meet commitments.
• Maintain CRM pipeline with accurate stage tracking and close dates.
• Represent Model 1 at industry events to generate leads.
• Ensure multi-location accounts receive consistent communication.
