Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a National Data Center Service Development Manager to lead the growth of aftermarket service in the Data Center market. This role focuses on increasing maintenance agreements, attachment rates, and recurring revenue while ensuring a consistent national service experience with local district ownership.

The position requires extensive Data Center experience, strategic sales leadership, and collaboration across Sales, Service, and National Accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
• About 5+ years of management, leadership, or strategic sales experience
• About 10+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years specifically involving Data Centers, mission-critical facilities, HVAC service, aftermarket service, or strategic account development

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national strategy for Data Center aftermarket service growth
• Partner with District Service organizations to identify, develop, price, propose, negotiate, and secure new Data Center maintenance agreements
• Serve as the national Data Center service subject matter expert, providing guidance on operations, customer requirements, and market trends
• Meet with senior leadership to understand market activity and customer requirements
• Develop standardized Data Center maintenance programs and scopes of work for nationwide use
• Establish and maintain national pricing strategies for Data Center maintenance agreements
• Develop strategies to convert equipment customers into long-term service customers
• Support District Service teams on strategic Data Center opportunities, including meetings and proposals
• Coordinate national and multi-District Data Center opportunities for a consistent service experience
• Develop tools, processes, templates, pricing methodologies, and best practices for service sales
• Analyze installed base, relationships, market trends, pipeline, and pricing to identify opportunities
• Establish and monitor KPIs for Data Center aftermarket service
• Provide training and mentorship to District Service and Sales teams
• Build strategic relationships with key Data Center customers and stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, programs, pricing and service offerings
• Lead cross-functionally to align leaders and drive adoption of national strategies
• Provide leadership to senior management on aftermarket strategy, opportunities, and performance
