Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company seeks a Director of Business Development to pursue new clients nationwide. This role focuses on expanding ARCO’s footprint, building relationships with industry professionals, and guiding the sales plan across markets. Travel up to 40% is required.

You will contribute to a high‑performing team with industry‑leading compensation and ESOP opportunities, leveraging your experience to win strategic projects and drive company growth.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of new business development experience
• Highly prefer direct sales experience in food & beverage, cold storage, light industrial/manufacturing or commercial sectors
• Highly prefer design‑build experience
• Proficiency in business development software (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Pipedrive)

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top of mind awareness
• Research and analyze key economic factors that may influence market activity within specific niche markets or geographic areas
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with new clients and prospects
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with ARCO’s marketing, project management, and operations management teams
• Travel as needed, up to 40%
