Job summary

Cogent Communications, a multinational Tier 1 ISP, seeks a National Account Manager for the U.S. market. The role targets mid-market and national accounts, with base salary plus commissions and tenure-based increases.

In-office position, five days a week, with mentorship and focused coaching. You will identify, qualify, and close new business via direct outreach, field activities, and relationship building with key decision makers across large commercial buildings and campuses.

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record in B2B with regional/national accounts.
• Ability to qualify and generate new business from prospecting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within the Regional Sales Territory and hunting to identify opportunities.
• Qualify and generate opportunities through direct calling, email, and other contact efforts with Key Decision Makers.
• Support prospecting with field activities such as building walks, lobby events, and meetings with customers.
• Position Cogent services for new connectivity solutions and relationships with decision makers.
• Aim to achieve monthly revenue goals by selling into national commercial properties and campuses.
