Cogent Communications in Chicago, IL seeks a regional sales professional to identify new business opportunities within the Mid Market and national accounts, focusing on large commercial properties. You will prospect via calls and email, qualify leads, and drive revenue growth.

This is an in-office position five days a week offering mentorship, training, and opportunities to advance within a growing Tier 1 ISP with a comprehensive benefits package and uncapped commissions.

Qualifikationen

• Previous sales experience with a track record of success is required.
• Ability to identify, qualify and generate new business through prospecting and research.
• Strong oral and written communication is required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines.
• Working knowledge of CRM and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• A college degree is preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory via sourcing and hunting.
• Through direct calling, email and other contact efforts identify, qualify, and generate opportunities with Key Decision Makers.
• Complement prospecting and selling efforts through field work and in-person meetings.
• Leverage consultative selling to identify connectivity solutions for Cogent customers and prospects.
• Help Cogent customers by positioning services for new business.
• Achieve monthly revenue goals by selling into large commercial properties and campuses.
