Job summary

Cogent Communications is recruiting a Regional Sales professional to drive new business within a national Mid Market territory. You’ll identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities through calling, email, and field activity, engaging key decision makers across large commercial properties.

This in-office role offers a structured base salary with uncapped commissions, generous benefits, and mentorship to help you exceed revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience with a track record of success is required.
• Ability to identify, qualify and generate new business through prospecting and research.
• Strong oral and written communication is required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within a prescribed Regional Sales Territory via sourcing and hunting.
• Qualify and generate new opportunities through direct calling, email and other contact efforts.
• Support prospecting with field activities such as walks and meetings in-person.
• Position services to meet connectivity needs and drive revenue.
