Insight Institute of Neuroscience & Neurosurgery (IINN) seeks a diligent Patient Access Representative for our multi-specialty facility in Flint, MI. You will greet patients, handle registration, verify insurance, and schedule appointments while maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced team setting.

The role requires strong customer service, data entry, and communication skills. Experience with EMR systems and insurance verification is a plus; a High School diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or related field desired.
• 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred.
• Previous experience performing insurance verification is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and interact in a friendly, polite manner.
• Provide customer solutions and troubleshoot as needed.
• Perform data entry through the EMR system.
• Maintain medical records and patient confidentiality.
• Perform insurance verification as directed.
• Answer phone calls in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Register patients and schedule appointments as directed.
• Multitask across responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to department standards and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
