Job Summary
The Patient Access Representative works in our Multi‑Specialty facility to contribute to superior patient care. This role thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with professionals in neurology, pain management, chiropractic, physical therapy and more. The representative is cross‑trained in all clinical administrative processes, handling phone calls, patient check‑in and check‑out, reminder calls, and EMR data entry while maintaining patient confidentiality. Top candidates demonstrate superior customer service skills with a focus on patient/customer satisfaction.

Duties
- Travel position
- Greets and interacts with patients in a friendly and polite manner
- Provides solutions for customers; troubleshoots as needed
- Performs data entry through Electronic Medical Record system
- Maintains medical records and patient confidentiality
- Performs insurance verification as needed and directed
- Answers phone calls in a friendly and helpful manner
- Registers patients and schedules appointments as directed
- Abilities to multitask and move between responsibilities in a fluid manner
- Adheres to department standards and PolicyStat policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Able to provide eligibility for employment for any U.S. employer
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field desired
- 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred
- Previous experience performing insurance verification is a plus
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Detail‑oriented, conscientious and committed to precision in work results
- Ability to relate to and work effectively with a wonderfully diverse populace
- Exceptional phone and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computers, preferably strong typing and desktop navigation skills
- Ability to multitask and move between responsibilities in a fluid manner
- Ability to independently problem‑solve
- Great data entry skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and documentation standards
- Friendly, empathetic & respectful
