Job summary

Insight Institute of Neuroscience & Neurosurgery (IINN) in Dearborn, MI seeks a friendly Patient Access Representative to support a multi-specialty facility. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, verify information, and enter data into the EMR while upholding confidentiality and high service standards.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma (GED acceptable), some customer service experience, and strong communication skills to interact with diverse patients and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work for U.S. employers.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor in Business desirable.
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification a plus.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Strong communication and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients in a friendly manner.
• Provide solutions and troubleshoot as needed.
• Perform data entry through the EMR system.
• Register patients and schedule appointments as directed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with policies.
• Perform insurance verification as needed and directed.
• Answer phone calls in a helpful manner.
• Occasional travel required.
