Job summary

Insight Institute of Neuroscience & Neurosurgery (IINN) is seeking a Patient Access Representative for its multi-specialty facility. You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and enter data into the EMR while maintaining strict confidentiality and providing excellent customer service.

The role requires strong communication skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a friendly, empathetic attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field desired.
• 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred.
• Previous experience performing insurance verification is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with patients in a friendly and polite manner.
• Provides solutions for customers and troubleshoots as needed.
• Perform data entry through Electronic Medical Record system.
• Maintain medical records and patient confidentiality.
• Perform insurance verification as needed and directed.
• Answer phone calls in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Register patients and schedule appointments as directed.
• Ability to multitask and move between responsibilities in a fluid manner.
• Adheres to department standards and PolicyStat policies.
• Occasional travel required.
• Other duties as assigned.
