Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Plaza Director to manage day-to-day operations and long-term profitability of a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway in the Bowling Green region. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver fast, friendly service while meeting financial targets and brand standards.

You will recruit and develop leaders, optimize staffing, ensure compliance with laws, and collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, and Finance to support growth and community

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• Flexible on-site schedule approximately 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods; lift at least 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of associates and plaza leadership to achieve sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety.
• Monitor progress toward financial and performance targets and implement strategic changes to maximize performance and profitability.
• Ensure each food and beverage concept adheres to required brand standards.
• Maintain an engaging work culture with continuous learning and accountability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams and staffing levels across the plaza.
• Hire, coach, train, promote, discipline, or transfer plaza leadership as needed.
• Supervise and manage the plaza leadership team to meet their goals and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
• Build seamless relationships with vendors and communities.
