Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers in Ohio seeks a Plaza Director to oversee day-to-day operations and drive multi-million-dollar travel plaza profitability along a major highway.

You will lead a dedicated team, ensure fast, friendly service, uphold brand standards, and partner with Brand Partners, HR, Finance, and maintenance. This on-site role requires strong leadership, cost control, and a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage costs and maintain quality standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and plaza leadership to meet sales, speed, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety.
• Monitor and analyze progress toward targets and implement changes to maximize performance and profitability.
• Ensure all food/beverage concepts adhere to brand standards.
• Maintain a culture of continuous learning, information sharing and accountability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams across the plaza.
• Hire, coach, train, promote, discipline, and manage plaza leadership.
• Supervise leadership to meet goals and govern direct reports.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with partners, vendors, and communities.
