Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Plaza Director to oversee a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure fast, friendly service while achieving sales, speed of service, and quality standards across operations.

The role requires 5+ years in multi-unit leadership, strong communication, cost control, and the ability to recruit and develop staff across locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• Ability to recruit, coach and develop staff across locations.
• Proven ability to drive profitable growth while maintaining standards.
• Flexibility to work on-site ~50 hours per week including evenings and weekends.
• Strong cost control and quality standards, with brand compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of plaza leadership to meet sales, service speed, and quality targets.
• Monitor financial and performance metrics; implement strategic changes to maximize profitability.
• Ensure each food/beverage concept adheres to brand standards.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage plaza leadership; supervise direct reports.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
