Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Plaza Director to manage day-to-day operations and long-term profitability of a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway. You will lead a dedicated team to provide fast, friendly service to travelers while meeting financial targets.

You will oversee multiple food/beverage concepts, ensure brand standards, coach leaders, and drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction, staffing, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of associates and plaza leadership to achieve or exceed targets in sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality/safety.
• Monitor progress toward financial and performance goals and implement strategic changes to maximize performance and profitability.
• Ensure that each food/beverage concept adheres to brand standards.
• Foster a culture of learning, information sharing, and accountability across the plaza.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams to maintain staffing levels.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, promotion, and disciplinary actions for plaza leadership.
• Supervise the plaza leadership team to meet goals and manage direct reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with business partners, vendors, and the community.
