Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers is seeking a Plaza Director to oversee a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway. You will lead day-to-day operations and drive long-term profitability while ensuring fast, friendly service and adherence to brand standards.

You'll recruit and develop the plaza leadership team, manage staffing, training, and performance, and collaborate with brand partners, HR, and finance to meet safety, quality, and financial targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours per week including weekends.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; lift at least 20 pounds.
• Strong cost control and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations and profitability of the travel plaza.
• Achieve targets around sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, and brand standards.
• Monitor finances and performance; implement strategic improvements.
• Ensure food/beverage concepts adhere to brand standards.
• Recruit, coach, and develop plaza leadership.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
