Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services seeks a Plaza Director to manage a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver fast, friendly service while driving profitability and maintaining top brand standards.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, recruit and develop leaders, and ensure compliance with policies and laws, while collaborating with partners across the organization to support growth and excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven success in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods; lift at least 20 pounds.
• Occasionally attend meetings or travel to support other locations.
• Proven ability to maintain cost controls and uphold brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of plaza leadership to meet sales, speed of service, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Analyze progress toward objectives and implement strategic changes to maximize profitability.
• Ensure all food/beverage concepts adhere to brand standards.
• Foster an engaging culture with ongoing learning and accountability.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams across the plaza.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, and performance management of plaza leaders.
• Supervise leaders to achieve individual and business goals and staff planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
