Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist in Amarillo, TX. You’ll step in to cover delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable, ensuring customers receive seamless service and apparel on time.

Responsibilities include loading and delivering garments, maintaining route accuracy, assisting with invoices and inventory, and collaborating with the service and management teams to support new accounts and upsell when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT compliance required, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service and independent working skills.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and being on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Safely load, transport, and unload items; collect and secure used garments for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently and work to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage invoices and conduct basic inventory audits.
• Maintain vehicle safety and appearance according to policies.
• Support new account installations and assist on routes as needed, with potential upsell opportunities.
