Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will load and deliver clean garments and products, maintain route accuracy, and protect customer relationships with proactive service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• DOT compliance: physical exam and meet DOT requirements.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; able to work independently within a team.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Tech-savvy; comfortable using new technologies to improve operations.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and learn route specifics.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes; collect used garments for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently and proactively solve problems.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle appearance and safety.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with Service and Management teams for route support and new account installations; upsell where appropriate.
• Communicate customer feedback to location leadership and monitor local market activity.
